There isn’t much to look forward to game releases of June 2022 as this month is specifically hosted for game announcements and reveals in E3, a trade event show for the video game industry. The event is now replaced by “Summer Game Fest” which is a digital video game trade event.
Still, some titles are out next month which are worth mentioning.
- Sonic Origins
Sonic Origins is an upcoming video game remaster compilation consisting of side-scrolling games from the early Sonic the Hedgehog series, which is being developed by both Sega and Headcannon and published by Sega. The game will be out on 23 June 2022 as a part of the Sonic franchise’s 30th anniversary.

- Mario Strikers: Battle League
Mario strikers is a Nintendo sports-oriented video game series by Nintendo. Mario Strikers: The battle league is the 3rd game in the Mario strikers series. This is the first Mario strikers game in a long time the previous one being released on Wii in 2007. Mario Strikers: Battle league will be released for Nintendo Switch on June 10, 2022.
- The Quarry
The Quarry is an interactive survival horror game developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2k games. The game is a spiritual successor to Until Dawn (2015) and is set to release on June 10, 2022, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and X.
This 3rd person cinematic horror game follows a group of teenagers camping themselves on a night, partying which unravels into a night of horror.
- The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle
The Elder Scroll Online: High Isle is an expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls Online. The game is set in High Isle, a part of Tamriel which has never been seen before in Elder Scrolls. The story revolves around a conspiracy where a secret order of knights is looking to disrupt the peace. Elder Scrolls Online: High isle is set to release on June 6, 2022, for PC and Mac and on June 21st, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S/x, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
- Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal is an upcoming free-to-play game in the Diablo franchise. This RPG multiplayer game is set between Diablo II and Diablo III. The game is set to release on PC, Android, and Ios devices on June 2nd, 2022.
