The official Dark Souls Twitter account has announced that the Dark Souls PvP servers have been turned off. The PC servers for Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 have all been taken offline.
Players have taken to the Elden Ring subreddit to explain the serious issue. It seems as though hackers can run code on your machine without permission when someone invades your game. The Dark Souls PvP hack was first noticed in Dark Souls 3. However, it’s also thought this will also be a potential Elden Ring hack at launch unless the issue is fixed.
It’s still unknown if this issue will delay the Elden Ring release again. However, an Elden Ring hack such as this is a serious problem. The Dark Souls PvP servers are not back online yet.
